Back on 13 May 2012 Dahlia and I planted the 2011 Sarracenia crosses. Instead of the usual 4-6 weeks in cold stratification, the crosses were left in cold and damp stratification for over 3 months. It&#8217;s been very rough so I haven&#8217;t been able to get to them as soon as I would of liked to. Anyway, \u00a0a week later, on 20 May 2012, I began to notice that the seeds sprouted!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seeing this gives me a renewed sense of hope, <em>especially<\/em> given the very rough growing season I&#8217;ve been having so far. \u00a0Many promising crosses have sprouted and there are so many awesome things to look forward to. \u00a0Anyway, a few folks have asked \u00a0me about how to germinate Sarracenia seeds. \u00a0A\u00a0post on my set up and Sarracenia seed germination to follow soon!
