Sarracenia leucophylla ‘Bris’

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know this plant isn’t to everyone’s liking but you know that I like them “freaks of the greenery” …keep it freaky, yo.

  1. It’s not a bad looking plant, and I often like the odd, bizzare and weird…but with that name?….I won’t be growing it,I’m an intactivist and have been for 30 years….perhaps someone will cross it with a giant lidded flava and call the result, S.restoration. ; )

  2. I’m with Yosemite. The plant is attractive but the name is supremely assinine. It shows no class…PERIOD!!!!

  3. I like the clone and definitely wouldnt exclude it from my collection b/c of a name lol. If you ever have a div for sale let me know please!

  4. Hey everyone! I know – the name is kinda just out there. Good news is that I’m hoping to use it in breeding to create other leucos (as well as many other plants) with the lidless feature. Things I would love to see in the works – AF lidless leuco, an extremely white (like HCW clone F) leucophylla, some with large dipping mouths, incorporate some pubesecent leuco genes in with it — possibilities are endless! I am sure that one of these days, we will have something worth of S. “Restoration” :)
