  1. I love Flowers, and I do get the Sunset magazine, soon to stop, as I did it for a niece in CA to help her school.

I must say I was totally sitting with my mouth in the OMGosh …. mode when I saw the most beautiful plants. I love the Neperthes “Miranda” …. left me in the shock of figuring the plant out in the photo. How very gorgeous! I then sketched it in pencil to get a feel of it’s makeup and style, as I have never seen any of these plants w/exception of Venus Flytraps. The Pitcher Plants are so cool and I love their form. I am a self taught Artist and have a great desire for the unusual in my Art, and I am sure these will come to life soon! The Freaky Flora is again stunning! I love all the plants featured and thank you for getting the chance to be chosen for an article in Sunset. Congrats to you and Thanks …. I love them!

    • Hi Sassy! Thanks so much! Yes, I’m so drawn and intrigued by these amazing plants – they have such a unique and strange form. They also have that certain “gore” factor, but that’s one thing about them that I find so fascinating. They’re so otherworldly – yet so beautiful! I’d love to see some of your work sometime. Again, thanks for your kind comments and for dropping by the blog, it means a lot!
