One of my favorite cool things about pitcher plants is how each one seems to attract a specific type of insect over all others. Some of mine seem to gulp moths the most, others wasps. It’s really interesting.
Woah! That IS very cool! I never really noticed that as I would just chop the pitchers during clean up and not really look inside. I’ll have to slice more open and see! My plants are actually located on a farm, so lots of flies do find their way in… these leaves are a bunch o’ gluttons and have no problem gobbling them up!!
