Sarracenia “Spy Vs. Spy”
This interesting plant originated from Brooks Garcia – which he christened as Sarracenia “Spy Vs. Spy” after the MAD Magazine comic that debuted in 1961. The plant looks like it belongs in the comic! More info on ”Spy Vs. Spy” on the Wiki here!
The lid on the plant is typically more enlongated and pinched reminding me of the Spy’s pointed faces and color is darker as it ages like most crosses with alata black in them..
Yep, I had the same in years past! It’s a nice plant. Next year with more light should make a huge difference! I like it!
