NOW OPEN! AWWW YEAHHH! I received a rooted cutting of this brilliant Nepenthes thorelii x aristolochioides earlier in September from Nepenthes master, Paul Barden. Check out his posts here and here on this truly remarkable plant. I’m glad that it’s doing well and happy to report that one month later, I finally got one pitcher open with a few more on the way! So excited!

Hey there, I just saw some pics of this clone on Nitrogenseekers, and I fell in love…I’m looking for information about growing it, could you please tell me a little bit about the plant?
Hi! I grow this in highland Nepenthes conditions, they like it on the cool side. I also grow them in part shade, under shade cloth that diffused the light. (And it helps keep things cool in the dome!) I don’t let Nepenthes sit in water, but instead I drench the entire pot and let the water run through. I don’t really let it dry out but keep it damp. Hope this helps!
So, diffused light and H/L conditions… Awesome, thank you so much! I just might get myself one!
