Just a few photos from the first day of September, 2011. I was just randomly shooting about in the yard. Not all are Sarracenia. Not all are carnivorous… Enjoy. ![]()

I like very much the plant in the second pic.
Is it a cross of yours or some already known plant?
And this is the best plant I’ve ever seen

Can you give me some info about it? (do you maybe have some spare seed of it?)
Amazing yard Rob!
Thanks for sharing
Hi Yuri! The plant is S. “Pink Eye” – a cross by Brooks Garcia. He tells me it is a type of leucophylla/alata cross. The mouth will get pink later in the season. It’s a nice one!
The one that you linked to is S. ‘Adrian Slack’.

It didn’t finish flowering for me this year. It was one of my WORST years by far in terms of flowers and seeds because of the strange weather. Many of my crosses this year did not make it.
There’s always next year though!
Your pictures are beautiful! Did I see an Amorphophallus in there?
Hi Owen! Thanks so much! You have an awesome blog too! I just took a look at it – I love weird plant looking things! Yes, it’s some sorta Amorphophallus. I can’t recall where it was from, one of those random acquisitions from somewhere yonder.
Yeah, I know Adrian Slack, but it is completely different from the one you linked and I know quite good too!!
Too much white… Amzaing plant, but definitely doesn’t looks like Adrian Slack.. Can you guess why??
lovely as per usual.
Thanks Jenn
