At least, I hope. Below are photos of two clones that I found interesting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6172\/6168119585_986ae7e73a_z.jpg\" alt=\"Sarracenia (leucophylla x oreophila) x 'Adrian Slack'\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/>This first one doesn&#8217;t have much color showing; that I know. At least not just yet.\u00a0 I am loving the floppy pitcher hood and wide sweeping mouth configuration here.\u00a0 The hood right now has very subtle coloration of lighter green splotches &#8211; I hope with age and a bit of stronger light it will bring out this characteristic.\u00a0 It&#8217;s still a seedling so it&#8217;s currently in a greenhouse with very bright filtered light.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second seedling that caught my attention is below.\u00a0 The pitchers were just opening up and you can see that the white spots are already forming.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be watching this plant in hopes that the white spots spread to create a more vivid white top and mouth.\u00a0 The S. &#8216;Leah Wilkerson&#8217; x &#8216;Adrian Slack&#8217; that I have does something similar &#8211; the coppery tones will eventually turn lighter then be flushed out by white.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s see if that same thing happens with this seedling.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6178\/6168121013_e6414c53b3_z.jpg\" alt=\"Sarracenia (leucophylla x oreophila) x 'Adrian Slack'\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6170\/6168122145_85f6667aff_z.jpg\" alt=\"Sarracenia (leucophylla x oreophila) x 'Adrian Slack'\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I crossed one of my select Sarracenia (leucophylla x oreophila) clones with S. &#8216;Adrian Slack&#8217; back in 2009.\u00a0\u00a0 It&#8217;s recently been putting up some juvenile pitchers that are tell-tale signs of what the plant will look like at maturity.
