'Reptilian Rose' x (flava v. rubricorpora x leucophylla)\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/><br \/>\n[S. &#8216;Reptilian Rose&#8217; x (flava v. rubricorpora x leucophylla)]<\/p>\n<p>I recently noticed this on one of the seedlings. It&#8217;s not a trait that  is on all pitchers of this plant but just happened on this one pitcher.\u00a0  I&#8217;ve seen this happen a couple of times in other peoples collection,  but it doesn&#8217;t happen very much from what I can tell. Interesting though!<\/p>\n<p>This double lidded pitcher is from one of the seedlings of S. &#8216;Reptilian Rose&#8217; x (flava v. rubricorpora x leucophylla).\u00a0 The cross was done by Dr. Travis H. Wyman and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carnivorousplants.org\/cpn\/Species\/v38n1p12_22.html\" target=\"blank\">S. &#8216;Reptilian Rose&#8217;<\/a> was created by the master-hybridizer dude, Phil Faulisi.<\/p>\n<p>Below is what the other pitchers of this seedling are starting to look like. It&#8217;s a photo of the same plant, just different &#8220;regular&#8221; pitcher.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5302\/5735688129_2e9036c180_z.jpg\" alt=\"S.
